Personality
He is a calm and careful leader who knows what is best for his teammates in dangerous situations. He is also quite intelligent and can pick up on things even when there is very few signs.
Synopsis
Infinite Hamlet Invasion arc
He fought with Divine Coalition against Infinite City right after it lost the protection of its NPC guards. He helped Fan lead the force and took over for him when he was captured by Prince and Ugly Wolf. He was pretty sure after seeing Kenshin slaughter many of his soldiers and Kekkaishi defeat the mages that all was lost, but when Prince started to eat guazi (popular Chinese snack, usually baked melon seeds) that all was lost. He surrendered to Prince against Fan's wishes telling him that the battle was decided and it was not right to let the members of the coalition that were still alive to throw their lives away. Prince then told the enemy army that if they did not join Infinite City that they would be KOS (killed on sight), thus making some of them join him. This made Kui very angry until Prince explained that he wanted to give them a reason to quit Divine Coalition. He then worked with Nan-gong Zui to fit the remaining members of the force into Infinite City's army. He along with Ice Phoenix requested that Fan be let go, which Prince honored.
